Wedding celebrations, Iraqi style

BBC Report:

A bride and her mother are believed to be among at least eight people who have died in a series of drive-by shootings in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
Gunmen reportedly opened fire on a car carrying the newlywed couple and family in the Dora area of the city.

I can only guess this is some new raghead custom that I'm not aware of.

I can't find any mention of this on either of Aljazeeras sites, they'd probably blame it on space aliens anyway.

America to microwave Iraqi's

Scientists are questioning the safety of a Star Wars-style riot control ray gun due to be deployed in Iraq next year.
The Active Denial System weapon, classified as "less lethal" by the Pentagon, fires a 95-gigahertz microwave beam at rioters to cause heating and intolerable pain in less than five seconds.

The idea is people caught in the beam will rapidly try to move out of it and therefore break up the crowd.

Police name 'special needs' bombers

Police have named two of the suspects from last weeks shambled bombings in London.
Yasin Hassan Omar and Muktar Said-Ibrahim (aka Muktar Mohammed-Said).

It shouldn't be too hard to find them, just look for the two muslims asking people to help tie their shoelaces.
